Happening This Week #2: Spirit Week Spectacular
Last week, the Events Team organized another week of Spirit Week on (14/05/2018)! It was very exciting and entertaining as we get to see the FIB family participate and dress up accordingly to the theme. We interviewed the winners of the Spirit Week! Dex placed first, Kazzan and hyangg placed second, while alyosha1 placed third!
Congratulations for winning in this week Spirit Week! How do you feel about it? Dex: Thank you!! There's no bias in getting me in Top 3. It's all skill! Kazzan: Actually, I felt inspired and bewildered by the announcement that I
was second with my older sister. The other outfits made me happy to see that all of the people in FIB can be creative in a virtual game, because outfits are not that easy to make. hyangg: Thank you! Honestly, I didn't expect it as I only joined them for fun, and it was really, really entertaining.
alyosha1: I feel so happy and a bit shocked because I didn't expect that I would win. :D
What inspires you to create such inventive outfits according to each theme? Dex: Having fun is what drives me to make the outfits and for the sake of inspiring others to join in as well! Kazzan: Imitation is a form of flattery, and basically, Google Images was my best friend. But especially on the Pink Sunday, a special someone inspired (forced) me to wear an outfit. *coughs* hyangg: Well basically, I'd Google Images to help me create those outfits and also I'd just play with the wardrobe.
alyosha1: My inspiration is my friends and my first boyfriend/ex for one month who broke me so much that he made me believe of his promises and words.
Which theme did you anticipate the most and why? Dex: The theme I anticipated the most was the pink theme because I could just imagine the base with people wearing pink. It really gave a fun happy vibe during this theme. Kazzan: Superhero Tuesday, because I love Doctor Strange period. hyangg: That would be Pink It Out Sunday because it reminds me of Mean Girls (Though it should have been on Wednesday smh.) But I get to dress up as Karen and have my own Mean Girls Squad featuring Regina, Sarah, and Naomi.
alyosha1: The Nerdy Wednesday was what I anticipated the most because I love the theme so much, even though it was nerd, but that was what I liked the most.
Do you have any suggestions for the upcoming theme that you would like to participate in? Dex: I suggest 90s cartoons so that everyone can relive their favorite cartoons when they were young! Kazzan: Lazy Monday because I'm a wannabe lazy person. hyangg: Yeah, I feel like a Barbie-themed is cute because why not. :)
alyosha1: Hmm... I guess if I have any suggestion, one of the upcoming theme should be “looks that came from heartbroken,” that would be all, hahahahaha. Just kidding. But if I have any suggestion: “your look right now in real life.”
