Frequently Asked Questions #2: VIP
FIB has their very own VIP members who are divided into three groups: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each of them have their own privileges, but there are still many questions about the VIP system itself. Thank you for giving us questions on the VIP system! Our Directorates and Foundation have answered your questions and any more doubts about being a VIP.
Why does FIB have VIP?
EpiDuk: FIB has VIP to allow people who do not want to work here enjoy some of what FIB has to offer on their own preference. It builds revenue, as people buy it. Also, it helps the agency in general because VIPs have contributed to the growth of FIB and some VIPs even join FIB! I think VIP is cool because it allows even the busiest people to be involved in our agency, which is sweet.
Who settles on the costs for VIP?
EpiDuk: The Financial Unit (1iC+) settles on the cost of VIP. We’ve changed prices and lowered prices to fit with the supply and demand to get the most revenue, and a big part of the financial parts of VIP is thanks to Cryptogen and Tingg. They work hard to make sure everything is right.
For what reason did FIB decide to remove diamond VIP?
Tingg: We decided to remove DVIP due to us transferring to boon and also to prevent people asking for free VIP since we need the funds for pay and other purposes.
Why did FIB suddenly decide to implement the Special Visitor badge? Won't it be easier to just have the three VIP badges?
Renjo: The Special Visitor badge was implemented to separate the Silver VIP users and Gold VIP users. We used to ask users to request for SVIP to access base through the group gate; however, when it comes to removing members who are not supposed to be in the SVIP badge takes time since it consist of GVIP and SVIP members.
What do you use the funds FIB earns from selling VIP on?
Gian: The finances we earned by selling VIPs are used for paying employees, giving out prizes (ET and NT) and rewards for Awards Committee.
