Happening This Week #7: Karaoke Night
The agency's Events Team has organized its very first Karaoke Night. Karaoke Night is a new event which the Team had placed many efforts in making it enjoyable for the workers and VIPs. It allows the members of the agency to showcase their talents in singing and at the same time, enables people to enjoy the competitive spirit and fun! Asqry says, "My purpose on karaoke is to be a host, make sure the voting is counted for and make sure everyone is having fun!" Let's take a look at what the participants of the event felt!
In your field of view, how was the event?
Carlophobia: The event was very fun, and all the workers could relate.
Mirsa: It was amazing!
Asqry: The event went really well since it was the first time ET had hosted an event on discord, but it was an overall success
.madeline.: I think the event was a success!
Do you think Karaoke night was a good idea? Why or why not?
Carlophobia: Of course it was a good idea! I mean, it lets people bring out their joy and express their feelings through songs and have much fun. When I sang, I felt I had so many friends.
Mirsa: It's a good idea because it shows how people can get nervous in a short amount of time.
Asqry: Karaoke night is great! This is because you get to express your inner creativity and gift which couldn't have been done without this karaoke.
.madeline.: I think it was a great idea because everyone that participated had a blast and everyone got together to have fun.
Were you feeling nervous before you sang?
Carlophobia: I was nervous, but now I got to know you guys, so I feel comfortable.
Mirsa: Yes, I was.
Asqry: I wasn't planning on joining the events, but everyone was scared, so I just decided to do it to be a good role model.
.madeline.: Before, no. During, ABSOLUTELY. After, a little.
When you were announced as one of the winners, how did you feel?
Carlophobia: I felt honored and happy and shocked at the same time.
Mirsa: I was proud of myself.
Asqry: When I was announced as one of the winners I was shocked. I didn't expect it because I sang first to show others it isn't as scary as it seems just to boost their confidence.
.madeline.: I was honestly surprised more than I was happy. I had no idea people wanted to listen to me sing at all!
Do you have any suggestions to improve the next Karaoke Night? (if there is)
Carlophobia: Maybe we could let anyone who wants to sing participate. However, prioritize the ones who are listed. If they don't want to sing, let the others who want to sing, sing.
Mirsa: No, I don't have any suggestions.
Asqry: I do not have suggestions for the next karaoke night except, WHEN IS IT? I want to join!
.madeline.: I think that last one was perfect, so I have no suggestions.
