Workers of F.I.B #10: New 2iC Members

We all started out as low ranks at one point, and we all admired our high ranks. Still, we kept working until we got to where they were. Even if old members leave, new ones come to take their place OR an old worker gets their rank back. Being an iC member means a lot, and 2iC is one of the highest ranks there is. We've got two new 2iC members on our hands, so let's give them our congratulations with an interview!

Congratulations on the promotion! What were your first feelings when you found out?

Dollar: Thank you! Honestly, I wasn’t very shocked, I know I impressed my 3iC overseer and I know my work ethic. It sounds kinda cocky but it’s not haha. I was glad I got WhoIAm’s old rank as Chief because it’s THE best rank. Thomas.: When I first found out, Lauren told me to look at the website rank list. After I saw me and Lauren got moved up to 2iC, I felt great to be back in 2iC cause it makes me feel like all the work both me and Lauren have done paid off.

Because 2iC is one of the higher and desirable divisions, please summarize your journey in FIB for those who plan to work up to this rank.

Dollar: I joined almost 2 months ago now. I remember being very shy at first and kinda noob-ish because I hadn’t played Habbo nor a retro in years. Because I’m currently on summer break, I have a lot of time on my hands. One of the ways I spend this time is with the FIB. One thing I remember in particular is meeting and befriending the higher ranks, they treated me as an equal rather than someone lesser. My biggest advice would be work hard and show you’re dedicated, it will pay off.

Thomas.: It all started 3 years ago when I joined FIB with one of my in-real-life friends as a joke and to mess around. After my friend stopped playing Fresh, I decided to keep playing and to see how everything was without her. Low and behold, I'm still here till this day. I've been to 2iC about three times and left due to personal reasons, but I keep coming back cause I love the FIB community, and it will always have a special place in my heart. And I'm ready to stay for the long run.

So far, what has been your favorite part of your journey here?

Dollar: Most definitely the friends I’ve made! I have so many new friends that are so great and I wish nothing but the best for them.

Thomas.: My favorite part would be all the great friends I've made in FIB, whether it be the old friends that I’ve had for years or the new friends that I've met a few days ago. They always have my back and I’ve always got theirs.

Any words of advice or encouragement for LRs and HRs hoping for a promotion?

Dollar: Good luck and work hard!! Be proactive and show that you’re willing to help out and can be a trusted employee.

Thomas.: My advice would be to give it a go and never give up on trying to get a specific iC rank or anything specific.
