Watery Bed
“I'm drowning.”
As I lay in my bed, my hands keep on reaching the ceiling but feel like I'm stuck in the depths of the ocean, no matter how I tried to swim back into the surface something keeps on pulling me back until the light can't reach me anymore.
*Distant noises*
A noise would it bring me salvation or another monster waiting to devour me? I couldn't find the courage to get up it feels like my heart is so oppressed I could scarcely breathe. The distant noise becomes louder and louder until the noises ring my ears. I stood and walk towards the door and opened it. A forest covered in fog. My eyes and my ears search the noises that I've heard, but it was silent a calming noise of the wind as it hits the trees is the only thing I could hear.
“Find me.”
A soft and gentle voice yet my eyes couldn't find the person who utters those words. I walk towards the woods until I can't see my room no more. As I walk, I couldn't help but notice shattered glasses scattered all around yet my feet were neither cut or injured in this endless path.
“Save me.”
A plead, yet again a soft, gentle voice, and still, my eyes couldn't see a single person. As I walk this vast forest, I was stunned to see a pool of blood; yet it is so beautiful, my eyes are captivated. As I walked nearer, it became clear that it wasn't blood at all but rather it was a field full of Red Spider Lilies, and at its center, a pure white colored bathtub, full of water yet I could still see a person inside it. It reaches out its hand, and so does I, my feet starts to walk, but as I drew closer and closer, it feels like I'm becoming one with the fog and the forest. I could do it, I could save this person, Let me—
*Gasp*
A person standing over the fields of dust and ashes. I tried and reach out my hand, and that person starts to walk as it tries to reach out my hand yet as they drew closer it starts to disappear until they've become one with the world I'm living.
“It failed, again.”
As I close my eyes, it felt like as if the darkness has wrap around my body and drags me down into the depths of the ocean and my lungs are filled with water, as if I'm becoming one with the ocean.
“I have drowned.”
