Red Poppy #3: Butterflies in Autumn [end]
Promises made and broke,
yet we found each other.
Under the starry night,
we dance as if it’s our last.
On a small wooden cabin,
a new world was created.
Just you and I and
the sound of butterflies
emits from our mouths,
and secrets were told.
Throughout the cold night,
I'll hold you tight in my arms.
if I ever let go,
I’d asked God over and over
and bring me back to you.
It doesn't matter how long;
just wait for me
in that small wooden cabin
where we created a new world
just for you and me.
I gather my remaining strength and asked her,
“Will you wait for me?”
I felt her warm embrace and she hold my hand.
“Forever.”
I've always wondered what a home is.
Is it just a structure made for us to live in?
A shelter to keep me warm and safe during lonely nights?
Yet I'm here with you between my arms.
I've felt peace for the first time.
“It’s time for me to sleep.”
