Keep Going
A gentle breeze, That no one noticed, A sinful plead, That was ignored by the ones closest, She had tried to smile, Knowing it would do her no good, This world was just vile, On her own two feet she barely stood,
People would say give it time, And so she kept on with the climb, Until she hit a big bump, And almost let go, “Don’t give up” said another fellow, So she kept on climbing, Till she was bruised, cut, and beaten to a pulp, But she had made it to the top after all, And all she could do was simply crawl, But she had gotten up, And tried again and again, Until she stood, And looked back to where it all had began,
This world was just vile, But the strong could survive it, As long as they kept going, And never ever quit, They keep growing, And finally the end of it.
